CHANGDE


Changde ,called Wuling in ancient time ,is in the northwest of Hunan province ,bordering Zhangjiajie on the west and vast Dongtinghu Plain on the east .

It is a famous land of fish and rice as well as tourism resort due to its abundance in produce and beautiful landscape .Its main scenic area includes Land of Peach Blosson and Jiashan Temple ,etc .

Peach Blossom Garden

is a fairy land described in “On the Land of Peach Blossom ”by the poet ,Taoyuanming in the time of Dongjin Dynasty .It is in the northwest of Hunan province and by the lower reaches of Yuanshui River .It includes neighboring scenic spots and Yuan River landscape ,with total area of 157,550 square meters .It is of high value in terms of tourism ,art ,history ,culture and science due to its combination of old ,supernatural ,serene ,elegant and grandiose scenery suggestive of poetry and painting with historical legends .


Huayanxi National Forest Park


is located ,to the south of Dingcheng district of Changde City .It attracts people by virtue of its natural beauty of water and mountains .In middle March every year ,tens of thousand of white aigrets from the south perch in vast fir forests on Lushan and Huangchong Mountains by Wuxi Lake ,shaping a charming landscape of Huayanxi .


Hupingshan Mountain National Natural Reserve

is an ideal place for eco-tourism .It boasts the most primitive forest ,the longest gorge ,the most spectacular waterfall ,the purist water ,the freshest air ,the largest homeland for wild SouthChina tiger ,the largest karst cave ,the oldest natural geologic museum ,the newest original garden of Chinese orchid and the only virgin and in Hunan Province.


Jiashan Mountain National Forest Park

is 8 kilometers to the east of Shimen county .It features verdant forests and undulant mountain ,tranquil environment and fresh air .It integrates Buddhism resort ,mausoleum ,tea zen forum and ancestors’ monastery as well as forest landscape .
